This is no doubt some kind beginner's mistake but having installed 5.0.2 the events module does not seem to recognize themes. The calendar, for instance, is a small spreadsheet with cells having no fixed size but simple stretching to the text. Changing theme has no effect whatsoever on the appearance. I have re-installed the module to no effect.

All the theme folders seem to be there on the server and the CSS files appear to make sense.

This may depend on what version of DNN you are using. There was a problem with early DNN 5 versions that capitalised the theme directories incorrectly.

All directories and the theme files should start with a capital. Fixed blue should be FixedBlue.

Other than that, if you can provide a url, we can try to diagnose.
