I'm not sure if I'm missing something... I thought DNN had a BLOG module built-in at one point but with the DNN 9.x I can't seem to locate it. I found DNN-Blog 6.04.01 but it seems to be problematic. I don't doubt  that I could be doing something wrong, but also don't want to be using something that doesn't work properly with 9.x OR isn't really going to be supported in the future. Is there a free (or reasonably priced) Blogging Module? My 11 year old wants to post stuff (photos, YouTube Videos)... I'm sure she'll get into the more advanced stuff eventually (like auto posting to Twitter and Facebook).

Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated.

Chuck

CM,

The core DNN Blog that you refer to is listed on GitHub at this link  https://github.com/DNN-Connect/DNN-Blog. I am unsure of it's compatibility with the latest version of DNN, but that is the location where it resides.

Regarding other, reasonably priced blog modules... there are several you can choose from on the DNN Store. This link will filter by blogs and then you can choose one that fits your price & expectations for functionality.

Hope this helps!

Chuck,

Just to add a bit of information to what Clint has posted: all the formerly called "Core modules" have been removed from the DNN install package and have to be installed separately a while ago (afair it was in DNN 6).

Happy DNNing!
Michael

Thanks. I will revisit the BLOG module that I already installed... maybe I'm not doing it right.
