I have a Forms module with a radiobutton and other user-selectable items.  I also have a Reports module that connects to a secondary local database.  The intent is for the Reports module SQL query to return results based on what a user has selected with the Forms radiobutton and other form elements.  What is the recommended mechanism to accomplish this?

I've perused things like session variables, hidden fields, querystrings etc. but haven't come across a workable solution yet (though I'm still relatively new to DNN).  Also, ideally this will work across all pages in a portal.  Any suggestions are appreciated!
