What can I do? I have DNN NB_Store website / shop. I had about 300 150 Kb images in the store (now I have only 80, maybe issue is over now) Is this bootstrapping all the images at each page load consuming to much memory? Or is it the complete website caching in the application pool?

Subject: [#YNI-111-19603]: Someone of Arvixe employees is constantly stopping my Application Pool
To: sales@satoconor.com

Hello,

Thanks for contacting Arvixe. I'll be glad to investigate this bizarre downtime issue you are describing about the application pool continually stopping. I truly apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and I can only imagine the frustration this must have given you. We understand that reliable services is important and if something is wrong on our end, then we'll certainly hold ourselves accountable for it.

Actually, I've seen many cases like the one your are describing quite often. Believe it or not, it's an automatic server safety feature that turns off the application pool. In almost all cases it's generally due to a scripting issue. That basically means some code on your site is likely overloading the server and exceeding the allowed memory for your hosting package.

So the solution is generally one of two things.
1. Either optimize your sites code to be more efficient and use less memory,
2. or, the site in question may have outgrown the current hosting environment you are in.

If you cannot optimize your site or feel it is as optimized as it can be, then you'll probably need to make the leap over to a Dedicated Server. We do offer that hosting platform and you can get more details about them here: https://www.arvixe.com/managed_dedicated_servers

I hope this information helps you. Don't hesitate to reply back to this email if you have any questions or concerns about what I have said. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can do for you. I'm happy to help!

most likely the memory is used for caching. how do cache settings in Host Settings look like for your DNN?

Page State Persistence: Page

Module Cache Provider: Memory

Cache Settings: Moderate

Authenticated Cacheability: ServerAndNoCache

Shall I set Cache Settings to Heavy? If ARVIXE allows this, I seem to have limited server cache memory, for my hosting plan, maybe Heavy is more and faster paging, like more data going up and down, more refresh cache, not necessarily costing more paging space.

if you set caching to heavy, memory size will further increase. did you configure some modules for memory output caching (see module settings)?
The following query will list all modules affected, when executed in Host .. SQL:

SELECT *
 FROM {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}vw_Modules]
 WHERE CacheMethod = N'MemoryModuleCachingProvider'
   AND CacheTime > 0;

Yes DNN Blog & NB_Store modules both: Output Caching Provider = Memory

As I think of it problems could have been started when I installed Blog module months ago, adding pages all the time, maybe 2 or 3 times a month.

Increasing Blog is burden on server memory?
