Dear DNN Pros,

Please help, with a question about menu functionality, in > Admin, > Pages.

I am using DNN 8.0.3 now.

In my site menu I have...
> MyMainPage
>> MySubPage1
>> MySubPage2

I selected MyMainPage there and right-clicked and choose "Enable Link Navigation" and did seem to work, when I click on the menu item the link does not do anything and did not load MyMainPage at all.

Then, I changed the setting, as I selected MyMainPage there and right-clicked and choose "Enable Link Navigation" and does NOT work.

When I now click on MyMainPage in the navigation it does NOT load MyMainPage.

If I manually navigate to MyMainPage by going to...

http://111.111.111.111:1111/dotnetnuke/MyMainPage

...then it does work with that manual URL navigation.

Another odd thing is that if I set the page to be a redirect and I enter the redirect URL as http://111.111.111.111:1111/dotnetnuke/MyMainPage then it does NOT work, which again is odd in that I can manually type in that URL directly into the browser and get to the page.

So the setting seems "stuck" in "Disable Link Navigation".

How can I fix this?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Do you have anything related in the Event Viewer. I am not aware of a bug with this feature. Other things to try would be comparing that behaviour with the default skin, whithout any other languages than the default, on a fresh installation, etc. To try to narrow it down and isolate the conditions that make that happen...

If you are stuck with this issue on a production site, I think that setting is stored in the DisableLink field of the Tabs table in the database.
