Hello DNN Community!

I am an employee at a technology company that has begun using DNN as it's main platform for serving content to our customers. At the moment we are in the midst of switching from our previous platform and I have been tasked with learning how to use DNN inside and out.

One of the first things I noticed when trying to learn DNN is that I could not find a simple, comprehensive guide to "kickstarting" a basic website in DNN. Now, yes, the interface is fairly intuitive and, having no previous experience, I was able to navigate my way around and learn the basics in a relatively short time, but boy would it have been easier if there had been a guide.

Well! Now I have been tasked with documenting my experience in to a basic, informal guide in order to help supplement the learning experience for other employees in my department who will need to use DNN. I've decided to release this guide, as I write it, to the community so that others who are in my position can benefit from what I've learned and (hopefully ;) ) make the learning process a little easier for those just starting out!

Now I must mention that this guide will be
INCREDIBLY basic. As of this posting it is not even completely done-- over the next few weeks I plan to go in to more depth on the aspects I cover in it. Again, it will not cover advanced topics and, to most of you on this forum, it will probably be a repeat of information you already know. However I believe that for someone with absolutely no knowledge, it could be useful.

Now the disclaimer :)

DISCLAIMER: I do not guarantee that all or any information in this guide is completely accurate. This is an informal, poorly written, badly structured, and horrendously grammatically incorrect composite of the author's own conclusions and information. It is by no means to be followed literally and the reader should use common sense along with their own judgement when interpreting the information within.

Now then! At the time of writing this I could not get the document manager to work and so am hosting the .pdf file on google sites until someone can direct me otherwise.
