As the title states, here are my list of annoyances with the DNN 7 Beta. I will continue to update this post as I find more. 

Edit Mode

1. Fading In/Out from active module (module on which mouse cursor is hovering) is extremely annoying. Instead of allowing me to focus on the module I'm working with it shifts my focus back and forth from the entire page. Unless I'm the only one who cannot keep his mouse still while on a page. I can still live with this behavior on the main page while in edit mode but it gets extremely frustrating when you're editing a module (and are on the module edit control) and the module still fades out if you move the cursor out. This should (in my opinion) not be there at all since the only module on the page is the one we're editing and there's no need to fade in/out.
   
   
2. I find the dashed border around the actions (Edit / Settings/ Move) very unpleasing to the eye. I see that it's there for the drag handle; can we just keep the drag functionality to the move icon?
   
   
3. I find the actions (Edit / Settings / Move) very strong on the page and it takes away from the content. We should have the fade in/out on the actions itself. They should fade in when I hover them; otherwise, the opacity should be reduced so they blend in.

Not able to edit module titles before adding them to a page. An alternative would be a quick way to edit the title without going to page settings. - we plan on reintroducing inline editing of module titles, it just didnt make it to the 7.0.0 release

Dragging and dropping is very hit or miss. Sometimes I can drag to a pane, sometimes not. Hopefully we can choose to disable this feature and do it old school - I can't remember if it made the beta but the current builds support this (if you go to the top right of the module it will show the list of panes) - you can also move modules via the compass icon (when in edit mode)
