Hello,

It looks like anybody can send messages to groups. That seems pretty risky. In fact, I think that for my organization, it could be a pretty big deal breaker.

Is there a way I can set who can send messages to a group? Perhaps with a group moderator or something?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,
This has already been addressed for the final release. Only admins and group owners can send messages to groups. An admin can send messages to all groups.

Will, who is the group owner? The person who created the group? Or can this be delegated afterwards?

Hi Stefan,
Right now the group owner is the person that created the group. However, the API does support multiple owners. We won't have this surfaced in the UI until 6.2.1. The UserRoleInfo has a property for IsOwner.
