Hi
I'm testing DNN 5.5 Alpha and I've observed that langauage selector appears only to admin users.
the skin (default skin od DNN 5.x) contains:
<dnn:LANGUAGE runat="server" id="dnnLANGUAGE"  showMenu="false" showLinks="True" />

If I change the skin as follows:
<dnn:LANGUAGE runat="server" id="dnnLANGUAGE"  showMenu="true" showLinks="True" />
now, language selector appears as dropdownlist  to all users.

Is this a bug ?
thanks
Alberto

I assume it is a bug, but all code is still alpha. language selector will not show up to the public until there are more than one language enabled for the current portal.

i'm seeing what Sebastian describes i.e. if i have 2 languages but only 1 is enabled then only admin/host see both languages. Once the 2nd language is enabled, all users see both language options. Can you please verify if that is what you're seeing?
