I'm searching for a mega menu module that works like or, similar to this menu.  The menu I'm searching for works like the sub menu in grey under the main menu.

If anyone has an idea I would be interested.

Thank you,

i would recommend you use the built in ddrmeu and use a custom template - http://www.dnngarden.com/Mega-menu.T96.aspx looks close to your needs - http://dnnddrmenutemplates.codeplex.com/ also has another megamenu template - you can read extensive documentation on the ddrmenu at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/loc/allpages/Cat/DDRMenu.aspx

Hi

You can use these templates but they do not allow you to choose the number of columns in a given "drop down" nor do they allow you to easily add html to the top or side without  great deal of XSLT work.   (I would love to see some more complex examples of this menu)

If you look on the DNN store
http://store.dotnetnuke.com/home/product-details/navigation-suite(all-in-one)v1442--mega-menu-system--4-premium-xhtml-skin-packs--w3c-(new)

This menu does want you want.  This vendors page is quite confused but he is very quick with support.  The menu menu lets you deal with each top level on an individual basis.
The interface is not that logical but also not complex.  This is a very good value purchase.
You can also use tokens and even some modules in the menu.

There is also an expensive menu $300 ! which looks very good but $300 !

Over the next day or so I will be deploying an instance of the menu on bring a site of mine.
Once its live I will post a link here so you can see.

Hope this helps

Ian

Yeah these are all templates for the ddrmenu and as such you have to work with what you have. In this case xsl. You have full control over every aspect of the design and you are not bound to any module and how to set it up. Any of the xsl templates mentioned here can be turned into what you need I would say an hour of xsl work and you have variable sub-columns or extra html

http://www.sportcamp.gr/el-gr/%CF%80%...

the baove mega menu has variable sub columns and extra htl added ad well as header images based on the large images from the tabs

This started out as the mega2dnn tempalte  from tthe ddrmenu tempaltes on codeplex but eveolved a lot from there

Hi Armand

I think the problem for me and many others is that what is an hours XSL for you is a lot longer for others.

Do you know of any example code that could be used as a stating point for a variable column menu with the odd bit of html?

I would much prefer to use the ddmenu but it's way too clunky as standard.

What would really be cool for the ddmenu would be an XSL designer like the one in F&L.
