I've very new to DNN and just inherited a DNN based site. The original developers are gone and now I have to make changes to it.

I managed to get the site to build and run on my dev VM, made some rather minimal changes to an ascx, which I work fine on said VM

However, when I deploy to the test server I get this

Error: Report a Trolley Form is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\TSA_Website_Test\website\DesktopModules\ReportATrolley\View.ascx.cs(357): error CS0117: 'System.Collections.Generic.List' does not contain a definition for 'First' ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException:

Which tell me the ascx is getting compiled just in time (I had to copy the cs file first as it was complaining about that, and that's my first question, why would it do this?) and can't find LINQ, which is confusing as all the LINQ code was there before. How could I go about diagnosing this?

Thanks in advance
