Hi - I hope to relaunching our Australian DNN site in late November for the DNN community with very specific and Australian type content.

I will be looking for site supporters and contributors.

Although I am in Melbourne, I hope that this information will help show off the very many talented Australians we have but really need some specific support by way of contributors of content and articles.

There are prerequisites.
  • You must reside in Australia
  • You must have worked with DNN for at least three years
  • You are willing to put in a regular amount of hours for a set period of time (to help build momentum)
  • You are not trying to sell. (I got me a LONG list of people wanting to flog their own name)
In return, I will help you with your visibility in Australia through our marketing strategies.

You could be one of the following -
  • A designer (you can skin a site and have quality work)
  • A custom project developer (youhave built some amazing solutions based on the dnn framework)
  • A module developer (you have modules which are sold to an Australian or world market)
  • A reseller (you don't code but hell, you know how to put a fantastic site together)
  • A well connected DNN person (you know the top people)
I would like these areas covered to provided a really nice rounded offering of information that really isn't covered on the mothership here but I simply cannot do it on my own.  While I cover three out of the following areas :-)  - in reality there is opportunity for many more specialists in these areas to contribute something and make it very Australian in flavour but global in appeal.

I have excellent domains names available to use, but need the support of Australian DotNetNuke users who are prepared to contribute and participate, or I guess it's just not going to work.

If you feel inspired about DNN and think you can make a difference on a much smaller scale, on a site that offers you the choice to help shape a community suited for an Australian audience, then please contact me through my profile email link and I will be happy to talk with you.   This will be run completely independently from anything here as there will be no association in that respect, but we will have the opportunity to foster a community that never really has had the chance to shine.

Thanks - and I am hoping to get a barrage of email from all you Aussies who want to collaborate on Australian soil, about the world downunder.
