That is a good question about Bugs Bunny.  I can't remember which way he should have turned, but it always seemed to work out wrong...

It's a left, always a left.  Doesn't matter where you are going, just turn left in Albukeyky and you will get there.

I found the answer in the main source of all modern knowledge, Google? No.  Wikipedia? No.  Yes, Youtube, see this link.
