Running dnn 5.0 went to intsall report mdule update 5.0 and system crashed, now getting Server runtime error message  Server Error in '/' Application.

I tried to install my clean backup and still get the message.

please check your eventlog to see if any further information is in there, also consider showing full errors in your web.config - http://www.15seconds.com/issue/030102.htm

It looks like there was a breaking change in the DNN 5.0 Extension Installer which I wasn't aware of.  I'm afraid I'm still looking into the details.

I can't think of a way the Reports module could mess up a clean backup though... as long as you restore the files and database from the backup, the Reports module should be fully removed.  Any problems that still occur aren't likely to be caused by the Reports module...

Do you have any more details on the "Server Error in '/' application" page you're seeing?
