I'm using DNN 4.8.2 with Reports module 5.0.0 and ZedGraph 5.1.4. When I change from a working report from the Grid Visualizer to the Chart Visualizer and then press Update nothing happens and no error message appears. I've filled in all the settings for this visualizer and restarted the application, but this didn't help. So perhaps there's a problem with this combination of versions of DNN, Reports and ZedGraph.

I'm having the same problem.  DNN 4.9.0 Reports module 5.0.0 and ZedGraph 5.1.4.  I can expand a little bit on the "nothing happens".  When I press update I get the "Error on Page" with exclamation in the bottom left corner of IE.  Looking at details of the error it is saying  'null' is null or not an objct.

Ok, after sorting through other posts I have chart visualizer installed and working.

  • Updating .NET 2.0 to .NET 2.0 SP1 corrected the issue with "Nothing Happening" when press update.

After updating .NET I was able to save my report settings but got an error when trying to render the report.

A critical error has occurred.
Could not load file or assembly 'ZedGraph, Version=5.1.1.428, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=02a83cbd123fcd60' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

  • Downgrading ZedGraph to Version 5.1.1 corrected this issue and I was able to create a chart report.

I hope this helps others that may be experiencing similar issues.
