I'm putting a list of frequently asked questions (and their answers) here to try and avoid repeated questions. As questions are answered, I'll post them here

Question: What kind of Parameters are supported?
Question: Can I put input fields on the view page to pass data to the Reports Module?

Answer: The Reports Module supports four parameters, which are automatically available: @UserID, @ModuleID, @TabID, @PortalID. These are replaced by the ID of the active User, Module, Tab or Portal respectively. The current version does NOT support input fields for parameters but this is a planned enhancement

Question: How do I install the Chart Visualizer?

Answer: First, download the ZedGraph DLL Only package from http://www.zedgraph.org. Then locate the ZedGraph.dll and ZedGraph.Web.dll files and upload them into the Bin folder of your DNN Installation. Finally, install the Chart Visualizer package (found in DesktopModules/Reports/Install/Visualizers) using the Manage Add-Ins page of the Reports Module.

Question: How do I install the Reporting Services Visualizer?

Answer: Download and install the Microsoft Report Viewer Redistributable 2005. Locate the Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common.dll and Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms.dll in the %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\ReportViewer folder and upload them to the Bin folder of your DNN Installation. Finally, install the Reporting Services Visualizer package (found in DesktopModule/Reports/Install/Visualizers) using the Manage Add-Ins page of the Reports Module

Question: How do I install the UDT Data Source?

Answer: Install the UDT Module (see that module's documentation for more information). Then install the UDT Data Source package (found in DesktopModules/Reports/Install/DataSources) using the Manage Add-Ins page of the Reports Module.

Question: My question isn't here, how can I get an answer?

Answer: First, try searching the forums, your question may have already been answered! Second, post a question here and we'll try to answer it. Remember, the more detail you provide and the clearer your post is, the better we can answer your question. If English isn't your first language, that's OK, we'll do our best to help!
