Switching from IIS Exress to IIS Local is causing the 404 Error Page tab to load. I am using 9.2 source in Visual Studio.

I made these changes in the database:

UPDATE PortalAlias SET HTTPAlias = 'http://localhost/DotNetNuke.Website'

UPDATE PortalSettings SET SettingValue = 'http://localhost/DotNetNuke.Website' WHERE SettingName = 'DefaultPortalAlias'

It seems there other some other changes I need to do make.
What else needs to be done?

updating the portal alias does not affect the database connection.
You would need to adjust the database connection string in your web.config file (usually around line 20)

Why would I need to update the connection string if all I am doing is switching from IIS Express to IIS. It's still the same database using SQL Server authentication.

Adjust it to what? I didn't mention anything about connection strings!

oops, sorry - it was late and I read "SQL Server Express" vs. SQL Server.
My apologies.
