A recent disturbing discovery. I had 3 HTML modules with extensive content post on a page. All was working well.

I just recently wanted to add an existing module to the page. After I clicked on the selected module to add my page froze.
In the past I was able to just recycle the page and try again. But now on 2 separate occasions after recycling the page the old content disappeared.

We checked the database and in the Module table the Module IDs we missing and all associated content. I guess a question is what should have been done instead of refreshing the page.

That's disappointing to hear this bug is still in the code-base. I ran into the same bug/issue after upgrading to 9.1 when it was released and posted about it. Same deal. DNN has a nasty bug in it that deletes content directly from the database (no recycle-bin recovery) when trying to add a new module. This is not only a bug, but a design flaw that even allows code like this to exist. Do DNN database devs know about Transactions?

Please report this issue, if you haven't so already. Browsing to support.dotnetnuke.com will take you to the Jira issue tracker.
