In your screenshot notice the top level node is selected. Could you select a lower node on the tree... something like "blog" and see what shows up?

It displays the same thing.
As a side note, when I go to the site wizard and choose a template, I am presented with 2 options: Galore-portal-template-en-US or Galore-portal-template-DNN8 - en-US. I pick the DNN8 version, I click replace, select my theme for home and then select a theme for my container, then choose a file for a logo, and FINISH, it doesn't seem to take or grab. I tried another template for Vers.8 . Same thing.

We are going to try this. Hoping this fixes our issues.



You should run this script to fix the site settings. It says that it is for DNN 7.4.2, but it is for DNN 8 as well.
