I'm getting a strange grid display, no code was modified to remove any CSS elements, etc.  This "just happened."  Note there is no grid header row.  This was first noted in Host | Site Management so I checked out Admin | User Accounts, same deal.

I was just getting an error in IIS 8 while seeing if restarting the App Pool, IIS overall or just the website would fix it.  During this I was not able to restart the app pool for the site.  Tried closing the browser, opening it again, etc.   Didn't fix the issue.  Not that IIS would cause this, I just ran out of options and took a wild jab at it and noted that unusual things were happening in IIS while this display happens.

This is set up in Local Host on my machine.

If no data is in the grid the headers show up.  This would almost have to be a style sheet corruption of some sort but since I'm the only one working on the machine and I don't do CSS :) -- don't see how this would have happened.

Might there be a setting someplace that corrects this?

You might check to see if there was something odd in "Admin" -> "Site Settings" -> "Stylesheet Editor"

Thanks for the response.

What it turned out to be was "overhibernating" my laptop along with McAfee Updates and pending Windows Updates taking up resources.

I logged in to the local host site again next day ... back to normal.  So if it helps the next person who might think a skin edit or code-behind edit blew up the skin, etc., don't jump to conclusions.  If you're in the habit like me of just pushing down the lid of your Toshiba laptop when calling it a night, i.e., never fully shutting down that often :) ... this could sneak up on you.

As soon as I'd fully rebooted, which was done after allowing the pending Windows updates to install as well as the McAfee updates, all back to normal.
