Hi,
On this Wiki page (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/users-in-multiple-portals-in-a-single-dnn-instance) it reads:

"If you want a user to be able to login to multiple portals on a single DNN instance, that user will need to be registered separately on both sites using the same username and password for both sites. Registration can be done by either an admin on the users page or directly by the user through the registration page.
The users username, password, First Name and Last Name with be shared by both portals. Profile information for that user will be separate for each portal."

However, in my experience, It looks like DNN won't allow a user with the same username, password First and Last name, on more than one Portal. When I try to do so, DNN doesn't allow it.
I know that Superusers (of course) can access all portals, but what I'm looking for is having regular users ba ble to access more than one Portal in the same DNN instance.

The reason I need to do this, is to use AD authentication. I have it working fine (using the DNN AD Authentication Extension) on one Portal. When users on the networkvisit the Portal for the first time, DNN AD Auth automatically registers them with their AD username and password and profile (including First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone...). However, when that same user visits a second Portal (which also has AD Authentication enabled) , DNN doesn't allow the  auto-registration (since there is already a user with that name in the first Portal). And what happens is, the user gets locked out of both portals.

So I need to be able to get the same user on more than one Portal (without having full superuser rights). I have inquired to the Git hub thread for the AD Auth module, with no luck (yet).

Let me know if you have any insight into this. I appreciate it!

Thanks
Tom
