I got this error after applying the hotfix on 7.1.2.

I tried http://www.telerik.com/forums/cannot-deserialize-dialog-parameters and it didn't do anything.

Any other avenues?

I think the patch was compiled against DNN 7.2, which may be part of the issue. You may need to manually apply the steps that the patch executes on your site.

Same problem here in DNN 7.1.2.

@K Prouty Did you solve this problem?

@Will Can you explain how to apply the steps manually

We have this issue in all DNN 712 instances so a patch for this would be great.

In another thread, Leith posted this: FYI for those following this DNN has put out SecurityAnalyzer 8.1.1 that will add this key to your web.config automatically if it's missing.

Let me know if this works for you! I've been ftp'ing stuff up and manually creating links and pulling my hair out until I can get off of this...
