OK, so I was using the CK Editor Provider V2.1.20, but when I saw I also had the DNN Connect CK Editor Provider installed I did a little research and discovered this is now the 'official' provider and was forked from the one I was using. I switched to the DNN Connect version.

The problem has changed - instead of the thread going non-responsive and memory seesawing up and down, I now see a solid 25% CPU from SQL Server, and a little SQL diagnostics has highlighted this is caused by a database issue. I shall open a different thread with the specifics, as I now know what is happening but need advice on how best to fix it.

Thanks for the initial steer.

Regards
Steve
