As I thought: Connecting to the database via the user specified in DNN, creating a table gives a permission denied error; Error 229. Not sure why that is? And I say that because the user owns both the database and the DB_Owner schema.

Looks like that was easily solved ... I somehow added the denydatareader and denydatawriter roles onto that user. not sure why.

In one of your earlier posts you said "literally" everything was checked. At the time I thought - but surely not the deny* roles. Looks like I was wrong!
