What is the correct way to upgrade from 5.1.1. to 5.1.2. I dont see any documentation on this.. do I just copy and replace the files or is there more?

Hi Sameer,

That's right. Just unzip the update file to your dnn folder and overwrite all files. When you load your portal, the update process will start automatically.

You might like to backup your file system and database, just in case.

Well, i did no encounter problem upgrading from 5.1.1 to 5.1.2.

I did one extra thing before upgrading (my host: DiscountASP.NET), i´ve stoped my web site from the control panel of my hosting provider after backing up the database and all portal files... also, after you copy your new files over the old ones and START again your website, you should first go to www.yourwebsite.xxx/install/install.aspx ... for me everything was ok.

FWIW, I updated several dozen installations and 2 of them failed to successfully upgrade the HTML module (otherwise upgraded fine). The HTML module upgrade failures were because the SQL update script would fail due to some existing entries in the ModuleSettings table.

After running an update qyuery to fix the problem, the HTML module was installed successfully.

If anyone needs further explanation on the update query, just ask.
