Thanks for the response Sebastien ... I tried your suggestion but the page still comes back blank although the upgrade looks like it was successful.  Strange ... not sure what it could be ...

I am getting this problem on one of my sites now I will see what I can come up with for a solution and post results

Hi Cody,

if the instaöll page is blank you have a permission issue. Check physical file and folder permnissions and be sure you inherit those to all subfolders and files. Also checkyour connection strings and your Maschine Key and last but not leased check your SQL Server permissions.

Thanks Mathias I will double check all that but I believe it is all set correctly as after I put an update package on the server I have to inherit permissions to view the site again. I will overlook it all and see if I can come up with whats going on. The package I believe updates it just does not show anything when it does...

Just a thought as I had this problem long ago, have you checked that autoupgrade is set to false in your web.config? If set to true, then anyone browsing to your site will set off the upgrade and then the upgrade won't run again but the site will show as being upgraded.
