Are you still having problems with this?

We're running into a problem with this.  How did you resolve it ... Has anyone else run into this?

We're trying to run an upgrade from 4.7.0 to 4.9.1 and we keep getting the blank page after running the upgrade.  It looks like everything ran ok but we can't be sure since no confirmation screen or log history comes up.

Please advise.

Are you using the module URL Master of iFinity. I am using this and had to place www in the installation adress and this did the trick for me. Hope this helps!!

Marc

Yes there are log files ... they are all empty.  Empty means everything ran ok correct?

We're not running ifinity urlmaster on this site ...

I'm also experiencing these problems. This started around DNN5.1.4 with me. Since then i've upgraded my site everytime there was an upgrade available. But when i hit domain.nl/install/install.aspx?mode=install the only thing i get is a blank install page. There is a log file created, which is empty. Also in my site settings i can see the site is updated. Can anyone please help. I don't know if this is problematic.

Frank, or anyone, were you ever able to figure out the problem? I'm trying to upgrade and am getting the blank screen again as well but looks like the upgrade was successful.

A confirmation page or message would be nice ... not sure if this is a problem. If so how can it be resolved? Its like something got flipped in the web.config or something that prevents the install from writing its progress back to the browser ....

install/install.aspx?mode=install is blank by intention on running sites, you need to run install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade to run the upgrade scripts for a new version manually, if you turned off autoupgrade in your web.config.
