In the fall of 2012 we introduced your first round of DotNetNuke MVP's; those exceptional community contributors whose participation and enthusiasm help make the DotNetNuke community the unique and collaborative environment that it is. At that time we also announced that we would add to the ranks of our MVP's again in the spring, making the award a twice annual event.

 It gives me great pleasure to introduce 11 new DNN★MVP's, publicly awarded at the recent Southern Fried DNN event sponsored by QCDUG.In no particular order, and listing just a few of their notable accomplishments:

	David Lee	(France) Owner of Nevoweb.com, publishes the DNN Forge project NB_Store, a popular open source e-commerce solution; active participant in DNN forum support.
	Gilles Le Pigocher	(France) Sole maintainer of the popular DNN Store open source e-commerce solution in the DNN Forge; active participant in DNN forum support; active member of the local French community.
	Jason Brunken	(Iowa, USA) Recently assumed stewardship responsibility for the open source Active Forums module in the DNN Forge, publishing a  DNN 7 release and recent betas; active #DNN twitter presence.
	Michael Tobisch	(Austria) Active member of the German DNN community; publisher of popular open source modules in the DNN Forge including helferlein_Form and helferlein_BabelFish; active participant in DNN forum support.
	Roger Selwyn	(United Kingdom) Prolific publisher of open source DNN Forge modules including his own RTP Tooltip, Newsletter, ForgottenUser, RSS and Feedback; active development of DNN Events module in cooperation with Ernst Peter Tamminga; active participant in DNN forum support.
	Scott McCulloch	(Australia) Owner of Ventrian.com, a commercial open source publisher; original core team member, now Community Platform Developer at F5; active participant in DNN forum and Community Exchange support.
	William Severance	(Maine, USA) Owner of Wesnetdesigns.com; active DNN Forge open source publisher of DNN Feedback, Content De Jour, ePrayer and more; active participant in DNN Forge support.
	Chris Hammond	(Missouri, USA) Frequent blogger, #DNN tweeter & photographer; active DNN Forge open source project publisher including Development Templates, MultiFunction Skin and SignalRChat; active participant in DNN forum support and Community Exchange.
	Gifford Watkins	(Nova Scotia, Canada) Passionate DNN evangelist and advocate; active DNN social media supporter.
	Rob Bryn	(North Carolina, USA) Owner of DNNAdmins.com, VP of QCDUG user group, co-led 2 Day of DNN events (including #FriedDNN); frequent #DNN tweeter and blogger.
	Allen Foster	(North Carolina, USA) Owner of CoolCoyotes.com; President of QCDUG user group, co-led 2 Day of DNN events; DNN promoter in local schools and technology meetups; active #DNN social media presence.

The DNN★MVP award celebrates current contribution. Each of these individuals has been selected in a process that begins with your community nomination and continues through a process of examination and selection. A committee of current DNN MVP's and active DNN employees consider open source Forge contribution, Community Exchange activity, user group participation and general DNN social media presence to identify those most deserving. During the process, we receive comments in the form of nominations and one of the received comments sums up well what it means to be an MVP...

"...is not out to glorify himself, but to help people; a humble, smart and helpful guy."

Do you aspire to become an MVP… you can! MVP’s are selected through a combination of community nominations and review twice per year, with the next opportunity coming up in November.
