Currently when you click a menu item on top of the website, a page loads with:
<h3><%=PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabName %> </h3> as the title.

I want to change this to show the Menu Item.... How can this be accomplished?

For instance, you click on Membership, where the script above is showing the tabname right now, I want it to say Membership. Then I will move the TabName right above the content frame within the page.

Ray,

Not quite sure if I understand what you really want, but what about PortalSettings.ActiveTab.Title?

My understanding problem is that the page name is normally the same that appears in the menu (breadcrumb, etc.). If you have a multi language portal, it could also be PortalSettings.ActiveTab.LocalizedName.

Best wishes
Michael

so on this page: http://www.biophysics.org/Membership/...

This is in the Membership section. Where it says Categories on the top of the page... I want to replace this with "Membership"
Then move the page title "Categories" to right above the content pane.

You can render the attributes of any page in the breadcumbs like this:

PortalSettings.ActiveTab.BreadCrumbs(n).TabName

Where n =  the Level.

You might want to add a condition to prevent calling a non existing level:

<%If PortalSettings.ActiveTab.Level > (0) Then Response.Write(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.BreadCrumbs(1).TabName)%>

I have two example skins on Codeplex with much more framework attribute examples:
