The Wiki module used on this site allows users to subscribe to updates. They can do this, as long as they are logged in with a valid dnnsoftware.com user, at the page level or for all pages.
Page Level Update Emails
To subscribe at the page level, for example this Wiki Notifications page, just navigate to the page as a user who is currently logged in. In the upper right hand corner of the module you will see an email icon. If the icon has a small green plus sign, a user is able to click this to enable email notifications for that page. If there is no plus sign in the icon, the user is already subscribed. Users can also hover over the icon and a tooltip will be displayed noting the current notification status for the page.
Please note, if you are subscribed to all pages the module still permits you to subscribe at the page level too in the user interface.
All Pages Update Emails
To subscribe at the module level (meaning, for all pages the user can see including ones not yet created) just navigate to the All Pages page as a user who is currently logged in. In the upper right hand corner of the module you will see an email icon. If the icon has a small green plus sign, a user is able to click this to enable email notifications for that page. If there is no plus sign in the icon, the user is already subscribed. Users can also hover over the icon and a tooltip will be displayed noting the current notification status for the page.
Discussion Level Emails
Like Page Level and All Pages, discussions can be subscribed to at the page level or for all page discussions. Next to the email notification icon, there is a similar icon with a chat bubble that represents the discussion level notifications. Please note, when subscribing at the individual page level users will have to view the discussion section for each page to manage their subscription.
Moderation Emails
For moderators only, if they are subscribed to a page or all pages they will receive email notification when content is added/updated based on their notification preferences.
