There is definitely something phishy going on with your installation, I would recommend you run virus detection, trojan detection, etc. etc. etc. And don't forget to run multiple tools like Symantec's, Trendmicro, AdAware, Spybot Search & Destroy, and of course MS Windows Defender, you can do all these for free. One thing you could check right away is your Hosts file, sometimes trojans or other malware will overwrite it to screw up your DNS resolution and block you from getting to the sites you need to help fix or alleviate the problem. Look for entries that point known commercial domains and URLs to 127.0.0.1, only "localhost" should be there (unless you have made entries of your own).
And just in case, make sure you have all patches and service packs installed, including those for MS Office if you use it.
I have done every check I can think of, removed, redownload, and reinstalled DDN, upgraded to the Final release of IE7, but still I get this:

I am totally lost here. Running 4.0.3 before I lost my harddrive, I was able to install this with no problem, now I cannot get the last step working.
Please, anyone.... help?
