Hi all,
I'm new to DNN so forgive me if this has been answered. I've looked through the help files here and can't find the info I'm looking for.

How do I upgrade the Media module to the latest v3.02.02? I've downloaded the zip file and have looked in the Host > Module Definitions area and I see a link to upload a new module, but nowhere do I see how to upgrade an existing one. Do I need to delete the currently installed module and then add the new one? If so, do I upload the entire zip file or one of the files in it?

Thanks in advance.

Download the latest vesion and install it just like you would any other module.  The new module will be installed and any upgrade DB needed will be run.  Yo DO NOT need to install the current module, and if you do you will lose all you content.

I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear in my first post, but I'm new to DNN. My ISP installed it for me and I've never installed any other module. I downloaded the zip file for the latest Media module, but do I need to upzip it and upload a particular file, or just upload the zip (like you do with skins) and DNN will unzip and take care of it, or what? Please elaborate on "install it just like you would any other module".

Huh? I don't need to install the current module? Did you mean "uninstall"?

smehaffie, thanks for taking the time to reply to my question. This newbie just needs a bit more clarification.

1) Yes, I meant you DO NOT need to uninstall the version of the module that is already installed.

2) To install the new verision.

-- Goto to host menu.
-- Goto Module Definitions
-- Click on {Upload New Module}
-- Browse to the zip file you for the new version of the Media module
-- Click {Add} to add it to the list of modules to upload.
-- Click {Upload File(s)}

I am doing this from memory so the wording might be a little different, but should be enough to get the new/updated module installed.
