If you are upgrading to DNN 9, the Security Analyzer module says that you should delete it because now it is built in.

"You are running DNN 9.x or later, this module is no longer being maintained and should be uninstalled. You can use the Security Analyzer included in the PersonaBar for security concerns with this version of DNN."

But when you delete the Security Analyzer module from extensions, it still leaves an entry in the Persona bar with a blank page.  There is no way to delete that entry since in DNN 9 you no longer have access to a Host page or Host settings page like you did in previous versions.

How do you delete the superfluous Security Analyzer entry in the Manage section of the Persona bar?  Why doesn't an upgrade to DNN 9 automatically remove the Security Analyzer module if it is going to add its own version anyway?  And shouldn't DNN 9 prevent you from installing the Security Analyzer as a separate module?

There is a limitation in the current install/upgrade process that limits the ability to remove packages as part of the installation. There is work being done to continue to improve this in the future however.

As for the page to be removed, I believe you will need to set the tab to deleted in the Tabs table of the database. It should then appear in the recycle bin and you can remove it.
