Hello,

We have upgraded our DNN Community version from 7.2.4 to 9.2.2 using upgrade path that is suggested by DNN. Our site is having few issues. Can someone please help us by resolving these issues if you have face same problems.

1 ) In Username table, it is not allowing to put username as "Domain\Userid". I saw a post which says, it doesn't support "\" any more in username and you have to update the username in Database. All our users are having username with "Domain\Userid".

2) Every time we are trying to open Site Settings, we get the popup for entering credentials to connect to Application Server. Is it trying to connect to Internet? why are we getting that popup? please let us know how to resolve that.

Alex,

ad 1): There is already an issue (https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Pl...) - it looks like this will be solved in one of the next releases. But feel free to add a comment to poin out the importance.

ad 2): any entries in the event log? What comes to my mind quickly (but just a shot in the dark):

- Please check if the AppPool user has modify permissions throughout the whole directory structure.
- Did you unblock the ZIP file before upgrading? If no, just do so and unzip it again. (But always make a backup before you try anything)

Happy DNNing!
Michael

Thanks for your quick response. There is no other way to edit a module. We can't wait till next release. Can someone give us URL which you can open for Editing module Settings.

Alex,

assuming your page Url is

http://www.domain.com/Some/Path

and you want to edit the settings for a module with the ModuleID 123, the Url is

http://www.domain.com/Some/Path/ctl/module/moduleid/123?returnurl=/Some/Path

Happy DNNing!
Michael
