Hi,

I'm testing the standard DNN 9.2.0 HTML editor (CK Editor) when pasting text from Word and it seems to me that it's not cleaning the same styles codes depending on which browser I'm using. For instance, on Chrome it doesn't matter if I paste directly or if I use the "Paste from Word" popup, and it always cleans all styling code (spans, styles, etc). But when using Firefox or Edge, it cleans very little code when pasting directly, and it cleans much more when pasting into the popup, but not all (in particular, it's leaving the "style" clauses). I haven't dared to test it on Explorer, LOL...

Is anybody aware of this behavior?

Thank you,
Francisco

AFAIK your observation is right, even the buttons "Paste as Plain Text" and "Paste from Word" might work a bit different.

As this is CKEditor function (not caused by the DNN provider) you may check at CKEditor forums.
