I've tried everything I can think of.  I finally ended up deleting the viewprofile module from the My Profile page and re-adding it, but the behavior hasn't changed.  Site is on DNN 9.1.1.

For some reason, only superusers (not even site Administrators) can see the content of the viewprofile module.  Message Center appears to work fine.

I have the Glanton AD-Pro bundle installed, but no Glanton modules (only a DNN View Profile module and a DNN Message Center module) are present on this page.

Page permissions are set for admin view/edit and registered users view only.  Module permissions are set to inherit page permissions.

There *are* some profile properties set to admin-only, but not all of them, and non-superusers can't see *any* content from the profile template, even static content not tied to a token.

Any thoughts on what to look at?  Should I set up another site and export the My Profile page and try to import it?  I'm pretty stuck.

I'd suggest reaching out to the folks at Glanton since their module appears to be generating the user accounts. It's also worth noting that until recently, superuser accounts didn't have a profile associated with it. I don't think that's completely changed yet either.

Hi Will,

I might reach out to them anyway, but I have users created manually where I still can't see their profile info unless they are a superuser.

I just re-verified that by making a new user by hand.  As a normal user, can't see own profile.  As an admin, can't see profile.  As a superuser, CAN see own profile.

I'm reasonably sure that something is amiss configuration-wise somewhere, but I'm at a loss for what to look at.

The source code for the view profile module seems to have some hooks for determining visibility, but tracing them back to the beginning has been slow going.

So, I've discovered something new after engaging with Glanton (doesn't look like it's the fault of their module).  The view profile modules are all there in the source of the page, and they all have 'style="display: none"' set in the profileoutput div.  That appears to be why they aren't visible.

If I view the same page as a superuser, that attribute is set as 'style=""'.  Anybody know where/why this gets set?
