The HTML editors situation in DNN is really messed up. I am currently running DNN 8.0.3 trying to get everything converted to work with 9.2

I am currently using the RadEditor but in order to get it to work with 9.2 I have to install two other packages after I do the 9.2 upgrade.

I have tried using the w8tcha/dnnckeditor but unfortunately DNN does not allow this editor to show up in the HTML manager window. Not only that but when the site is upgraded to 9.2 both editors (w8tcha and DNN-Connect) show up on the same page with a long ass scroll bar :-(

That leaves the DNN-Connect/CKEditorProvider which is actually a part of DNN but according to what I have found in the source code that hasn't been updated for over a year, is that this will not work with future DNN releases????

So what in the h*ll are users supposed to do about html editors?

Hi, if you install a clean dnn 9.2.2 you'll get the DNNConnect.CKE.
So that is the default one right now...

So how does one go about uploading files with this DNNConnect product? I believe this is the reason that this editor isn't very helpful.

I don't think you need to upload, they should already be there?

for DNN 9, you should be able to use either included DNN CKEditor provider (which should be up2date, though we still need to check the Github Repo) or Watchers.net provider.
Make sure to clear local browser cache and cookies after the upgrade.
