In DNN 9.2.0 the stored procedure GetUsersAdvancedSearch fails with an error.

Executing the SP directly from SQL Server Management Studio results in the error:
Msg 3701, Level 11, State 5, Line 15
Cannot drop the table '#MatchingUsers', because it does not exist or you do not have permission.

 

Using the statement in a DNN module results in the error:
There was an error while executing the configured data source: There is an error in your SQL at line 15: Cannot drop the table '#MatchingUsers', because it does not exist or you do not have permission.

Unfortunately, there are some issues with this stored procedure in DNN core.
Either avoid using this API call (which is designed for use by DNN Membership Directory module only) or use the version in my turbo scripts.

It is on my list to fix this call in DNN 10.

Thanks Sebastian!! I was just trying to bring it to light that it was broken in 9.2 so regardless of what uses that internally it will be broken.

I use it with the reports module to build the company a directory specific to each department (@FilterRoleId).
