Is there any documentation out there for setting up a language translation on the website? Searched through some of the DNN website but didn't find anything for step by step process on setup.

DNN doesn't include language translation.

DNN does provide structure and tools for setting up a multi-language site. This includes "Language Packs" that provide translated static content for sites.

I'm told that some folks use Google Translate to translate content.

I believe that you'll find more information at the website of dnnconnect.org,

Automated translation is usually very bad - it is usefull in the browser, if the information is not available in your mother tongue, but providing auto translated text on your website is a bad idea as it looks very unprofessional. DNN language packs include translation of static texts, like "Login", buttons and the administration UI, but all content needs to be translated by yourself.

Thanks Joe! Thanks Sebastian!

I was able to get the language pack installed and the website setup on my own, but I was stuck on why the text in the html modules weren't being translated. Given that the existing website has over 600 html/text modules this gives me a very good argument not add a second language to our website.

Thanks again.
