Hi, We  recently cloned a live DNN website and its  web server to create an identical  test development site. We connected it to a copy of the live database and we created a new alias in the portal alias table "example.test" for portal 0.  I even added a valid new admin account in the database and amended the web config

Finally I added a host entry on  the server with local IP and example.test etc. According to the online guides I was basing this on it should have worked, but I cannot get the browser to connect (on the server itself) .....it keeps coming up with a server IP address could not be found.

Any ideas where to look, check, add ?
