You're close, back on the site settings/languages area. Next to the Gear Icon you should see an Editor icon, here's a screenshot.

You'll want to edit the resource file under GlobalResources/GlobalResources

Thanks Chris, I was looking for the usual pencil icon.

Ok I found the privacy and terms of use area but there is only a small localised text box with the word Privacy, how do I edit the file?. If I open up the privacy page in a browser, copy the text, edit it offline and paste back into the textbox above will that work?.

But doing it this way means I will lose all the defaults for auto adding site name etc in the text. Is there a better way?

Found it, thanks for the help.

Mind you, not much room to work with so need to edit offline, that's not the best solution

please be careful editing resource files containing html code in DNN 9 language editor - due to a bug, it will get HTML encoded ("<" becomes "<" etc), which still has to be fixed (applies to DNN 9.0.0 to 9.2.0)
