Hello there DNN forums, 

Currently working with a client site that was setup on localhost and then moved to their URL. Now some of the built in features for DNN keep redirecting to the localhost address and not the URL. I have check and deleted localhost from the PortalAlias table and the only URL is the correct one. When I look in the table I can see that 

When I click on some pages on the site, I get redirected to localhost site again. 

Is there somewhere else I should be checking?

Warren,

have you deleted the localhost Urls from the table in the database, or via the administration interface on the site? If you have done it directly in the database, you have to restart the application pool, because the values are held in the cache. In DNN 9 this can be found under Settings :: Servers, there is a button on the top labelled "Restart Application". In former versions, this is found under Tools :: Restart Application. You have to be logged in as host afair.

Hello Michael,

Thanks for the reply. I have tried resetting the app pool via the option via Tools as well as manually via the IIS option in Windows. 

Wondering if there is another location where these DNN javascripted button pull this info from? 

I did a new setup for another client and I was able to get this buttons working correctly as long as the site it was installed on was the site actually wanted to use.
