I upgraded a site to DNN9, and then tried moving an HTML module to a different pane by hovering over the "move" icon and choosing a different pane. It copied the HTML module so that there are now two separate modules, one where it originally was, and one where I was trying to move it. And, more disconcertingly, it deleted all of the other modules on the page. The deleted modules are not in the Recycle Bin, and there are no entries for them in the TabModules table.

Anybody seen anything like this?

Which exact version of DNN are you using?

To answer your question, though, I have not seen anything like you describe.

To be really sure that the modules were deleted, not just being hidden by something else, so this (after first clearing the cache and then restarting the Application Pool) to go Page Settings. Then highlight the page in question and open the Modules section. Are the modules shown there?

The exact version is 09.01.01 (129). I have cleared the cache, restarted the application from within DNN, and recycled the Application Pool in IIS. When I view the page settings, the only modules showing up are the two HTML modules.
