Hello,

I have done some research to find where the setting is to change the email address that DNN is using for Admin emails, but I cannot find it. I am running DNN 9.1.1 hosted internally. Specifically, I'm trying to change the "From" address when emails are sent for site administration emails.

in Settings > Site Settings, you are able to specify one "Site Administrator". The email from his user account is used as sender for site messages to users.

Hi Sebastian! It's nice to finally meet you.

I have ensured that in Settings > Security > Basic Login Settings > Primary Administrator has the correct Admin user for my portal and that in Manage > Users that the Admin account selected in the aforementioned menu has the email I wish to send as. The issue is persisting where when the SMTP settings are tested, it is sending from an incorrect email.

Any thoughts?

Is it sending from the Host's address? That is the address that is used when you try the SMTP test.

In most cases, the test is performed using the Host Email from server settings.
If you want to investigate the user who is sending emails about user registration, please use appropriate functions (e.g. by updating user data or retrieving the password)
