Dear DotNetNuke Pros,

Please help, with this question about Assembly Binding Logging, for DotNetNuke 8.0.3 here.

In this area...

> Host, > Host Settings, > Logs, > Log Files = .log.resources

...I see this...

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF. To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1. Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging. To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

...and, even though I have read more than a few Google search results on this matter, I am still wondering the following...

Question 1 --

Should I care at all about this Assembly Binding Logging message in my logs, given that this seems to be just a warning and given that I am not seeing any sort of Assembly Binding failures in my site?

Question 2 --

Given that I cannot touch the Registry on the server, is there another way to turn on this feature to get its benefits, or is it simply not worth it since I am having no issues and I have no need for any performance penalty that I can easily avoid?

Question 3 --

Is there anything else significant that I should know about this warning?

Please advise.

Thanks.
