All of our sites appear to have the Purge Schedule History scheduler running successfully. They run everyday and log that they have run successfully. However the Schedule History table remains untouched and continues to get larger and larger. We have tried running the schedule manually as well but get the same result. There does not appear to be anything in the logs to indicate that the task is failing.

Has anyone experienced this or able to suggest any causes?

We are on DNN 07.04.01 (280)

Thanks,

Scott

it depends on the settings of your scheduler jobs, how many records to retain in the history.
Besides, due to performance issues, when the table outreached the number of records the procedure can handle, it won't get reduced anymore.
Running the following statement in Host > SQL should clear all history entries:
TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}ScheduleHistory]
