I've been banging my head on the desk for a couple of hours now, trying to find where to edit the privacy policy and terms of use text in DNN9. It used to be within the localization settings but I cannot find where to edit anything for any given language.

Additionally, the PP and TOS pages seem to "inherit" whatever skin from which the link the clicked. For example, when I click on the "PP" link from the home page, the policy text is displayed using the home page template, which is not appropriate behavior, especially since a home page is typically not designed to handle large blocks of content.

If anyone has an answer to fix both of these problems, please advise.

Excellent - thank you Anderson! Great resource - thanks for creating that. I've always understood the logic behind the way that is setup but the UI could certainly be improved.

Now if I can only figure out why it doesn't use the site's default skin. Anyone else have a solution to the second part of my post?

Chris,

the only way that comes in my mind would be to create pages for these, link to them and not use the standard skin objects. It should be also possible to display these pages in a popup...

Happy DNNing!

pages with specific controls (login, register, terms of use and privacy) do use the admin (edit) skin specified in Site Settings, not the page default skin.
Either use dedicated pages or use appropriate admin (edit) skin for your website.
