I am currently working on a site that was a new install of DNN 9.1.1 and am having some issues with the page management.   Those issues are as follows:

1)  Moving pages around is sketchy.    Honestly that is the best way to describe it.   I can move a page in the page list somewhere, and it will move other top level pages with it.    Editing a page permissions and saving the permissions will move that page to the bottom of the list.   Trying to do page management in 9.1.1 is frustrating to say the least.

2) Disabling a page but leaving it visible in the menu generates the following error:

Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'IX_PortalAlias'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.PortalAlias'. The duplicate key value is (portalqa.preauthonline.com).

The statement has been terminated.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. 

Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'IX_PortalAlias'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.PortalAlias'. The duplicate key value is (portalqa.preauthonline.com).
The statement has been terminated.

Not sure what it has to do with the PortalAlias.  But that is the error message that is generated.   

 

Any ideas?

The issue with editing a page and having it move to the bottom of the page list has been fixed for the forthcoming v9.2.0 release: https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/browse/DNN-10095 .

Any idea when that new release is coming?   I can't actually look at any of the Jira stuff, so don't know what the roadmap looks like.

All the roadmap shows is Q4 2017. http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community/learn/roadmap

 

Hopefully that's sooner in the quarter rather than later - with v9.1.1, I've run into more bugs than the Orkin Man!
