Hi everybody,

I've a quick question about skin behavior.

I always try to applied composite files and minify js/css for each website but it happens that on some websites the font from the main menu changes and it looks different from the rest of the site. Take a look at the screenshot link https://we.tl/rHtxaeFi1w

I tried to track down the code using inspect feature but if gives me a css file I can't find (http://www.domain.com/DependencyHandler.axd/8313ad899b3547f7a8de283aaa9f7e65/63/css).

I'm using the latest DNN 9.1.1 and I've seen this problem on several other versions of DNN Platform.

Any ideas about this?

Thanks.

hI marco,

The issue is that some modules do not adhere to the DNN standard for loading CSS stylesheets, or dynamically load css (e.g. in React). This causes the site to look different because these stylesheets are loaded later and possibly override the styles in the skin

Thanks peter, that makes sense.

My question now is, where is the website getting these default styles; I would like to change those values for something else.

If you use the developer tools of your browser and click on the item in question, you can see where the styling is coming from.

Yes I did Peter, but it's generated at runtime ((http://www.domain.com/DependencyHandler.axd/8313ad899b3547f7a8de283aaa9f7e65/63/css)

I don't know from which URI location can I get what's on this file in order for me to modify its values.
