Hi,

AFAICT DNN 9.1 does not surface the setting Use Email Address as Username in the UI.  Am I correct?  If not please would someone tell me where to find it.

I can see it in the PortalSettings table in the DB, but I am concerned about changing it in the DB.  This blog http://www.dnnsoftware.com/community-blog/cid/155168/e-mail-authentication-in-dnn-74 suggests that there is a bunch of important checking behind the UI in older versions that controlled modifying that setting.  Is there some way to change the setting and still trigger the checks?

Best wishes,
